Richard Samoska, DC

Dr. Samoska’s emphasis is on the holistic treatment of the entire body as well as acute and chronic disease as well as sports injuries. Dr. Samoska’s approach combines the power of traditional chiropractic techniques with the contemporary science of functional medicine and the wisdom of the natural healing arts. Dr. Samoska emphasizes living in balance which includes regular exercise, proper nutrition, and stress management. Growing up, he gained a fondness for sports, which lead to his development as a runner throughout high school and while in the Navy.

Along with his athletic participation came many injuries like low back, hip and ankle issues, shoulder problems, as well as neck aches and headaches. As these would come to bother him he began to realize the benefits of chiropractic care. Chiropractic would become his lifestyle and career of choice.

He received his doctorate of chiropractic from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Minnesota. He continues to pursue his love for nutrition, sports, rehabilitation, and is associated with the highly recognized National Academy of Sports Medicine as a certified personal trainer.

Since relocating from Connecticut, Dr. Samoska has been establishing and focusing on a holistic approach to not only treat acute and chronic injuries or pain, but to educate his patients on life style changes so they can thrive and live happier, healthier more fulfilling life.

His interests include long distance bicycle touring, hiking/camping, karate, weight training, reading, and spending time with his wife and dog.
